Dear Readers, It is winter and that means we will be in a new year before we know it. With a new year comes changes and with our winter issue we decided to change the design of our homepage. Winter also brings snow and cold to the North Country, but that does not mean you need to shut yourself indoors. Treat yourself and your family to a sleigh ride, see a play at the theater, take a hike through the wilderness, or go sledding or skiing on some fresh powder. And after you are done, brush the snow from your coat, make yourself a cup of hot chocolate, and check out our new issue. Learn about some dangerous indiginous animals, a deadly cat disease, the issue of wind power in the Adirondacks, and what draws tourists to our area. So enjoy the issue and bundle up.
