Nothing but North Country

When in the North Country, do as the north folk do.

Finally! A hotel without neon lights, vinyl siding, or tasteless deco design. Hotel Saranac combines warmth and class to provide the perfect Adirondack experience. As one of the oldest historical hotels in our area, they are experienced in making you feel like a North Country native. From the furniture to the lighting, we’re talking rustic, baby!

Located on the main street of Saranac Lake, Hotel Saranac is within ideal walking distance from shops and cafés. It’s modest brick exterior blends in to the rest of the street, allowing the town to maintain it’s rural feel. It only gets homier inside. Immediately to the right is an Adirondack gift shop, showcasing gifts decorated with pine trees, grizzly bears, and snow capped mountains. To the left is one of two main restaurants: wooden beams and furniture give it a cozy log cabin look.

They offer a huge variety of specialty food including banana-stuffed French toast, (yum, yum!) vegetable pitas, crab cake, and so much more. If you are a fan of alfredo sauce, their alfredo pasta is a must try! Dinner entrees are reasonably priced, ranging from $13.95-$17.95 and breakfast meals are a steal, starting at just $3.50.

Ballroom

The decor from the lobby is consistent throughout the building. You don’t have to have a suite to feel comfortable in these romantic rooms. Along with basic features, most rooms come equipped with a lounging area; perfect for gazing out the window at the snowy, storybook town. While gazing, you won’t even have to stress about the money you’re spending, because the rooms are surprisingly inexpensive. During the off-season, rooms start at $50 a night!

If this isn’t enough for you, maybe a golf or ski package will spark your interest? Hotel Saranac offers unbeatable packages, including lodging, breakfast and either Whiteface ski passes, or a day at a nearby golf course. Two people can eat, sleep, and ski for $135.00-$210.00 a night. You are probably thinking, “this sounds great, but what am I going to do with my pet while I’m off skiing all weekend?” No Problem! Bring your furry little friend along. If he’s part of your family, Hotel Saranac will welcome him with open arms.

If your objectives are to relax, eat good food, explore the Adirondacks, and spend quality time with the people you love, Hotel Saranac is the place for you to stay.

Is this Donald Trump's Park Ave. Suite?

Once you get there, you'll never want to leave!

You might want to bring your own sheets.

You're better off sleeping in the dumpster behind this place.
