Quiznos Subs by Sarah Ellis Adjoining Dominos Pizza on route 3 in Plattsburgh, Quiznos is already bringing in business. It's often crowded in the front, but there's additional parking in the back if you're trying to find a space. You can enter through the back door or front, though if you come in through the rear, be prepared to push through people just to get in line.
I couldn't see what they had to offer over the signs, but it didn't really matter. They don't have American cheese, so I settled for cheddar because i had to- they sent it through the toaster before asking if I was set. I wouldn't have known to keep moving on though the line if I hadn't asked either. At the other end of the toaster, it was the same deal. I couldn't see what choices I had, so I settled for lettuce and tomato in the end, almost forgetting to remind someone I also wanted clam chowder. I felt rushed, confused, and uninformed. By the time I whipped out my wallet, I realized I should've gone elsewhere. The place has a tank full of fresh lemonade, and a fancy,
clean set-up of utensils and extra condiments you can help yourself
to at any time. The look was modern and unique. Quiznos already has steady business. The food is hot and the condiments filled, however, if you haven't been here yet, try to decide what you want before being rushed through the experience. Oh yeah, and don't throw away the black dish they put your sub on, they've got a sign reminding you, but it's easy to forget and toss it in the trash. Quiznos may pride itself on toasting their subs; but Subway has picked up on this tip, and anyone who's been to Zeuk's Deli on Brinkerhoff Street will tell you they've had better. |
