The enticing
entrance to the Vermont Pub & Brewery |
Sure, plenty of restaurants serve good
food. Sometimes it's even inexpensive. But what price do you have to
pay to eat a wallet-friendly meal these days? Wobbly tables? A sore
rear end? Or cranky service? There just always seems to be something
missing! If you’re sick of never maximizing your dining experience,
you have to visit Vermont
Pub & Brewery. It definitely offers the whole dining package!
For starters, Vermont Pub & Brewery could not be more conveniently
located. Just around the corner from Burlington’s Church
Street, rests this magnificent establishment. After a long day of
shopping, the brewery is the perfect place to relax and chow down. A
big screen TV greets you at the door, while lively chitchat and music
abounds. With all this excitement, you may think it is targeted to a
younger crowd, but people of all ages feast here.
Where else can beer lovers, vegetarians, and thrifty spenders all get
together under one roof? As one of Vermont’s unique breweries,
the Vermont Pub and Brewery offers a hardy assortment of specialty beers,
and hard cider. Youngsters can choose between homemade black raspberry,
lime, and mandarin orange seltzers, or the Pub’s very own root
beer. If it all sounds so good, you can’t decide, try a pint of
“Shandy” (a specialty beer mixed with lime seltzer) for
just $3.50.
If beer doesn’t entice you, no problem! This place has so much
more to offer. Vegetarians, watch out. You may not be able to button
your pants after this trip. If the kitchen makes it meaty, they also
make it leafy. No more feeling left out when your friend bites into
that 2-inch burger…now you can join right in. Try the vegetarian
Reuben with sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, Russian dressing, and the works
for just under $6.00. If you are sick of paying $5.00 for a side salad,
Vermont Pub & Brewery is one of the only restaurants left who understands
that most people don’t eat a small bed of lettuce for their entrée.
It only charges a couple dollars for fresh greens. Everybody likes French
fries and this Pub knows it! Brew house fries, gravy fries, cheese fries,
and sweet potato fries are all reasonably priced around $2.00-$3.00.
The only place to get cheaper fries is McDonalds, and let me tell you,
these are much better.
As good as the food is, it wouldn’t taste the same if it weren’t
hand-delivered with tender loving care. The servers are friendly, professional,
and extremely precise. In a packed dining room, they will make you feel
like you are their only customer. Make sure to catch your server’s
name. If it’s Gretchen, expect to be treated like royalty!
If you like delicious food, friendly service, low prices, and an upbeat
atmosphere, you should make Vermont Pub and Brewery your next road trip.

Well worth it!

It beats eating Ramen.

You'd be better off eating at McDonald's.
Even the rats won't eat here.
