Along a busy and commercial stretch of Route 3 in Plattsburgh, trendy boutique 'Lola's Closet' sits almost hidden in a tiny plaza amongst a jeweler, electronics store, and hair salon. Opened in August 2008, the store's motto: "Fabulous clothes for fabulous people" may leave some wondering where these 'fabulous' girls are. Husbands AKA Wreak Havoc in Plattsburgh Not even the extreme chill could stop Husbands AKA from venturing to the warm Koinonia venue for a great show. I lumbered through the cozy upstairs where past band flyers hung around amazing psychedelic works of art and patrons of the venue lounged about on plush couches and chairs. A Cure For The Common Cold

The mountains in winter are a desolate place to be. Not that anyone seems to mind. In fact, that magnificant bliss of solitude is what brings travelers from miles around to the Adirondacks each year when the air turns crisp and the sky fills with snow.
